Supporting Rising Star Outreach in David Archuleta's Honor

I
have started a "Charity From The Heart campaign, in partnership with
AngelsForACause.Org (AFAC). In this campaign, we would like to
highlight to David's fans world-wide the work of Rising Star Outreach
and encourage them to contribute to Rising Star Outreach in David
Archuleta's honor, as they aim to raise $20,000 for a new secondary
school for children from families suffering from leprosy. More details
can be found in the message in the attached document.



I was wondering if you could rally the Vietnamese fans
to raise funds together as a country or fansite for Rising Star
Outreach and to donate at least one brick to the Pathway of Hope, with
a minimum US$50 donation. When you donate a brick, you can inscribe up
to two lines of text (maximum 16 characters per line including spaces)
of your choice on that brick. The text will be sand-blasted on the
brick so it will last many, many years. The brick will be used to build
a path that will be set in a beautiful garden beside the new secondary
school. It would be a great, lasting testimony of Vietnamese Archies'
love for David!




Furthermore, as a token of our appreciation, any
fan who donates US$5 and above will be gifted a sky-blue AFAC bracelet.
They can email davidbeyondborders@gmail.com with
proof of payment and their mailing address and the bracelet will be
mailed to them. It would be even better if you could facilitate
this and send us the list of Vietnamese fans who should be gifted the
bracelet.

Lastly, we would be very grateful if you could post
the message in the attached word document on your DAVN blog, for your
readers' knowledge. It would be great if you could ask Ha My
(knorr_iz_me) to translate the contents of the message into Vietnamese
and post it on her VN fan forum. Unfortunately, I don't have her email
address so I can't ask her myself. I apologize that it's a pretty long
message, but it contains the full details on the work of Rising Star
Outreach, David's support of this charity, and the Pathway of Hope.

Tôi tự hỏi liệu bạn có thể huy động các fan Việt Nam gây quỹ cùng nhau dưới danh nghĩa 1 quốc gia hoặc 1 fansite cho Rising Star Outreach và ủng hộ ít nhất là 1 viên gạch cho "Pathway of Hope", trị giá ít nhất 50$ Mỹ. Khi bạn "mua" một viên gạch, bạn có thể yêu cầu viết lên 2 dòng chữ (tối đa 16 chữ / dòng, bao gồm cả khoảng trống) tự chọn lên viên gạch đó. Dòng chữ sẽ được khắc sâu lên gạch, để nó có thể tồn tại qua thời gian rất rất nhiều năm. Viên gạch sẽ được sử dụng để làm đường dẫn ra khu vườn tuyệt đẹp đằng sau trường cấp II đó. Cuối cùng thì, chúng tôi sẽ rất vui nếu bạn có thể post thư này dưới dạng tập tin đính kèm trên DAVN, để người xem hiểu được. Can U leave a comment on DAVN saying that U can donate 5-10 USD to the "Pathway of Hope"?
I want to estimate how many we've raised so far. Also, let's other Archies, including Sandy, Joyi, Pam, Kim @ FOD and many other international fans, know that Vietnamese Archies are very dedicated and generous.

It'll helpful for my request of David's Christmas album, too.
P/S: >= 5 USD donation means U'll get a AFAC bracelet. Larissa will mail all bracelets to me and I'll distribute them to all of donatees.

Các em cố gắng gửi tiền cho chị trước ngày 13-9, tức là hạn chót là 12-9 nhé.
