- The AA Kids’ Day is the US Open kick-off event and involves music (David Archuleta, Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, and Shontelle, among others), interactive games, tennis clinics, exhibition matches, and skills competitions with famous tennis players. Proceeds benefit the UTSA Serves, the National Charitable Foundation of the USTA, which provides financial support for disadvantaged youth and people with disabilities through tennis and education programs designed to improve health, build character, teach life skills and motivate students to strive for academic excellence.
